Firstly, I recognize every profession in various fields; they serve their own unique functions and play crucial roles in society, contributing significantly to its development. Among these professions, I hold a deep admiration for farmers due to their substantial impact on society.
Farmers play a pivotal role as the backbone of our food supply chain. Through their diligent cultivation of crops, nurturing of fruits, and tending to vegetables, they ensure a diverse array of foods reaches our tables. The tireless dedication they exhibit not only results in the production of various products, with a primary focus on food, but it also grants us the precious gift of time. Thanks to their efforts, we are liberated from the arduous task of growing our own produce, allowing us to pursue other endeavors and engage more fully in our lives.
Moreover, the profound connection between farmers and the land extends beyond sustenance. Their practices and expertise contribute to the preservation of ecosystems and the promotion of sustainable agriculture. By maintaining a delicate balance between nurturing the earth and reaping its rewards, farmers showcase an innate understanding of nature’s intricate cycles.

Farmers are very important and not always appreciated. When I was studying at the teachers’ school one of my professors showed us the importance of farmers with these words: “if you (the teachers) go on strike students will miss a few days of school. If farmers go on strike you will not have milk to give to your children.”
